Spring Break Baby

This past week has been spring break and it was a much needed break, that's for sure. It seemed earlier than usual this year and there wasn't a whole lotta sun for me to soak up, isn't that what spring break is all about?! When I think of spring break I think of somewhere warm & sunny like Hawaii, Cancun, the Bahamas, St. George. Wait, no not St. George, but that's where I stayed for spring break this year. It was fun, though, to enjoy some r&r which I rarely get to experience these days. Even though I wasn't able to go anywhere exotic and warm like I dream of, I was able to get many different tasks done throughout the week that made me feel accomplished!

I did myself a little spring cleaning. I organized and deep cleaned my HUGE bedroom. Haha, no it's really not that big it's quite small. That doesn't mean you can underestimate the time and hard work that went into it though. ;]





My friend Sharee and I attempted to soak up some sun at the river on one of the sunny days.



We had a bachelorette party for my friend Kaylecia who is getting married this upcoming Friday. It turned out even better than we expected!


& these are the cute invitations Sharee and I made for the bachelorette party. Sharee found the idea on some website and we decided we'd give it a try. They turned out so cute! Little corsets :]

During spring break I also:
-worked
-was able to go to the gym everyday!
-went to Denny's with friends till about 2 am one night
-went to open mic night at Jazzy Java with my sister
-did some homework
-slept in
-learned a new card game & made chocolate chip peanut butter cookies
-& am now putting together my lesson for Sunday school tomorrow (I got called two weeks ago to be the Family History Coordinator in my ward, so will be teaching a family history course starting tomorrow). Wish me luck!
