Busy Bee

I feel like my life is so busy all the time, but I think most people feel that way. After spring break, I jumped right back into reality with school, studying, work, my church calling, my friend's wedding, and my family coming down from up north. All of these things didn't fail to keep me busier than I usually am. Sometimes [usually in the midst of finals week when I'm overwhelmed] I feel that I dislike being busy and find I question myself as to why I have taken on so many different responsibilities? However, when I do have a break longer than a week I come to the realization that I very much enjoy living a busy life and fulfilling all of my responsibilities, they make me who I am. Without them, I wouldn't have a life. Haha.
Last week, although busy, was very fun & eventful. One of my good friends, Kaylecia, got married on Friday and had a beautiful wedding ceremony. It was an emotional day and I didn't really understand what it was I felt. I now know how to put what I was feeling into words. For me, attending the wedding was bittersweet. I know that things are going to change even more than they already have between her and I, but I know that she is so happy and that makes me happy. We will always be good friends, but it will be much different than it has been in the past. I think I've finally accepted the idea that one of the only constants in life is: change.
