The Many Faces of Jamie

Everytime I view my blog, I laugh to myself. I laugh because right at the very top are the 8 silly pictures I took of myself one afternoon when I became really bored and wanted to experiment with my webcam. I debated whether I should put them up on my blog title or not, but because it's so relevant to my blog 'In the Life of Jamie', I had to do it. It gives a glimpse of the 'many faces' or another way to put it, the different personas that I have. Now i'm not saying that I have multi-personality disorder, just so that's made clear.
The beautiful thing about the world is that there are so many different people out there. Within each of us there are so many different qualities, quirks, and personalities that make us who we are. I think it's cool to think that there have been so many people that have lived, are living, & will live. There is not one person that will ever be exactly like you. I love this quote,
"To wish you were someone else is to waste the person you are."












































Who I am:

I'm quiet, but at times loud and obnoxious.
I enjoy meeting new people, but I also like to do my own thing.
I can be calm and reserved, but at other times i'm jittery and anxious.
I am responsible and task-oriented, but like my down time.
I find that I want predictability, but I find nothing more exciting than surprises and brand new situations and experiences.
I am a loyal friend, but I only have a very few close friends.
I'm smart and love school, but I can be one of the biggest blondes you'll ever meet.
I'm a leader when I need to be, and a follower when I can be.
I am logical and reasonable in certain situations, but can be emotional and passionate in others.
