Opening up a mission call is one of the most exciting moments ever. I had thought about all of the many different places I may get sent during the three [long] weeks that I waited for the big, white envelope in the mail. Once I read the words "You are assigned to labor in the California Santa Rosa Mission" I knew instantly that that is exactly where the Lord wants me to be. I couldn't be more excited! It is the perfect place for me. I am so thankful for this Gospel and for a loving Heavenly Father who knows each one of us personally.
Oh, and I report to the MTC on May 18th! :]

Hey Jamie! my friend Madi gave me your blog address after seeing your post about Santa Rosa!! I'm going to Santa Rosa Spanish speaking too!! I report on April 6th so I will still be in the MTC when you get there. YEA YEA that probably means we will be companions! I'll save you a spot in the MTC eh? haha
Congratulations!!! Im so excited!
That's so awesome, Jamie!! I'm so excited for you! We'll have to be pen pals on the mish since I'm leaving for Houston before you enter the MTC. And we can write our letters in Spanish because we'll both be speaking the language! Holla!
Exciting!! :D That's awesome you get to learn another language!

Amazing! I barely know you but I am SO EXCITED for you. Lately, I've been feeling this urge to serve so I can't wait to read more about this! Congratulations!
It sounds like you're really excited. I'm not sure how excited I would be to get a letter that said, "You are assigned to labor..." but then again, everyone is different.
I had a fun idea. Maybe at the mission you can have the theme to "Mission Impossible" playing in the background all the time. What do you think?
