First off, I just can't imagine a first date being perfect without having the perfect date. So, let's just all imagine here that this perfect first date would be with the man of my dreams. After Mr. Wonderful comes and picks me up from my door, we would then make a trip to a perfect place. When I think of perfect, I think of happiness, magic, laughter, adventure, & fun. To me, the perfect first date would be to go to the happiest place on earth- Disneyland! I love Disneyland, it truly brings out my inner child when I visit there!
The fact that I live at least six hours away from Disneyland wouldn't stop this date from being perfect because there would be a teleporter that would allow us to get from southern Utah to socal almost instantaneously [I wouldn't mind traveling with the man of my dreams six hours away, but on a first date it might be a little much].
We would have an amazing time at Disneyland indulging in the yummy churros, frozen lemonade, Mickey Mouse shaped soft pretzels and ice cream bars, all the while, running around riding all of the rides. We would be sure to visit Toontown and see all of the Disney characters!
After spending the day at Disneyland, we would then go grab dinner at a restaurant along the beach for a relaxing evening.
While this is my ideal first date and it would be very fun, indeed, it's also pretty far-fetched. I like to think I'm a simple kinda gal and I want to keep it that way. With that being said, there are so many fun, creative, & cheap ideas that make the "perfect" date. Renting or borrowing a tandem bicycle and riding it around town, a picnic in the park, or seeing a local band play at a coffee shop could bring just as much happiness, magic, laughter, adventure, & fun as any ol' Disneyland.
